Вот, "всю жизнь живи, всю жизнь учись!" Позвонили с Киева и спросили: правда ли что наша ул. А. Ковалёва названа в честь командира 1055 СП? Нашёл на сайте, - да Андрей Ковалёв, командир 1055 СП, погиб в сентябре при обороне Кременчуга. Ткнули носом, как кутёнка... Сам бы не догадался, что Андрей Ковалёв это тот самый командир 1055 полка... Командир 1055 СП 297-й СД - Ковалёв Амвросий Григорьевич. Погиб в районе с. Саловка по документам, 7 сентября пропал без вести (реально убит 2 сентября) у с. Саловка. Первичное место захоронения - с. Саловка, усадьба Горецкого Михаила Карловича.
