Был недавно у меня в музее гость из США , 72 летний Джим Гарнер, (на фото в центре) в прошлом капитан ВВС США, участник войны во Вьетнаме, командир вертолета ,,Чинук,,(даже был сбит зенитной артиллерией) Проявил живейший интерес к экспозициям, гостил полтора часа.
Самое интересное для меня было позже. Когда Джим увидел в экспозиции музея куртку американского летчика тип А-2 времен войны, он аж позеленел от зависти. Джим , как оказалось, тоже коллекционер. За эту куртку, сказал мне Джим, можно слетать в Америку и обратно и еще и останется немного.
Прислал мне недавно письмо с сообщением, что приобрел для нашего музея форму летчика США и сейчас подбирает на нее нагрудные знаки. Пишет, что к весне передаст все нам в музей. Очень интересовался как себя чувствует Ивушкин. Я ответил, что по разному. Летом хорошо, осенью-весной хуже, но не всегда.

Вчера на блошином рынке купил по случаю у бабки за 25 грн.журнал ,,Радянська жінка,, за март 1953 г.
Заметьте, журнал на украинском языке. Вспоминаю сколько было журналов и газет на украинском языке, в том числе и детских. И издавались все они вероятно подпольно, как газета ,,Искра,, когда-то, а редакторы преследовались ,полагаю,, нещадно
