Украина прощается с чемпионатом. Он прошел без проблем, вопреки ожиданиям, болельщики остались довольны. Но если вы хотите узнать больше об Украине с политико-футбольной точки зрения, я советую вам посмотреть документальный фильм The Other Chelsea - о донецком «Шахтере» и местной политике. На фоне победы «Шахтера» в матче за Кубок УЕФА в 2009 году вы увидите, как восточная часть Украины оценивает ситуацию в стране. И, главное, фильм показывает образ украинского общества: два разных мира, когда одни находятся у власти и злоупотребляют ей, а другие живут обычной жизнью и болеют за футбол. Как в случае документального фильма, так и в случае Евро-2012, власти (в частности власти Донецка) пытались отвлечь всеобщее внимание от проблем и своих неудач. С ЕВРО это, видимо, будет продолжаться недолго.
