Не вдаваясь в биологические тонкости: жаба - "лепёшка", круглая и плоская; лягушка - огурец: подтянутая, остроносая и более резвая. Жаба - лезет, лягушка - прыгает. Такие вот отличия на "бытовом" уровне. Но это всё "земные" характеристики. На воде уже сложнее. Неизменны отличием является "остроносость" и "тупорылость".

Фотка маленькая не разглядеть. Что это, даже не могу предположить. Можно про это спросить вот на этом форуме в соответствующей ветке: Биология Кстати, здесь можно определять бабочек, жуков, пауков, цветы, грибы и пр.
